We're Hiring: Head of Social Media

How To SaaS is a management consulting firm focused on helping SaaS companies thrive through marketing and demand generation. We’re looking for an experienced Head of Social Media to join our internal marketing team and help us scale promotions across our product lines. 

If you have 4+ years of experience managing social media accounts and creating high-quality content at speed, and you want to be an active contributor in a small team, we’d love to hear from you. 

This role is:

  • Full-time
  • Remote

 

Our team is based around Toronto and loves getting together whenever possible, so we would prefer that candidates live in or near the GTA.

 

Who you need to be:

  • You’ve managed several business social media accounts across both B2B and B2C brands. This should include writing and scheduling posts, engaging with the audience, creating graphics, and planning a posting strategy.
  • You’ve proven your ability to grow engagement and followers for a business social media account. Having metrics you can share to show this is a positive.
  • You’re a strong writer and have produced a variety of content for both B2B and B2C audiences. This should include blog posts, landing pages, one-pagers, whitepapers and templates.
  • You’re a fast worker. We’re looking for someone who can produce a new content asset every day, without compromising on quality and attention to detail.
  • You’re bursting with creative ideas. You will be constantly devising new assets and posts that could engage our audiences and support our goals.
  • You know your way around commonly-used platforms, such as:
    • Social media platforms including LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter and Instagram
    • Website platforms like Kajabi or Wordpress
    • Google Analytics
    • CRM software like Hubspot or Marketo
    • Social media scheduling tools like Sprout Social
  • You’re able to manage your time independently and can juggle multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • You’re data-oriented and can report on relevant metrics, from CTR and traffic sources through to pipeline and revenue generated from your campaigns.
  • You are highly organized and detail-oriented.
  • It’s a big positive if you have previous experience working on social media for:
    • Private equity or venture capital audiences
    • Marketing courses or communities
    • SaaS or DaaS products

 

What you’ll be doing:

  • Working closely with our CEO, Shiv Narayanan, as well as our VP of Marketing and Director of Product Marketing to develop a social media strategy that supports our product lines:
    • Marketing strategy consulting services
    • Inquisio marketing due diligence software
    • C-Level Marketing Training Program
  • Building a social media presence for Inquisio and the C-Level Marketing program, and increasing the impact of How To SaaS’s existing profiles.
  • Developing weekly and monthly posting plans across all product lines.
  • Writing and publishing daily social posts across multiple platforms.
  • Creating new assets to be published every day, including ideation, writing and design.
  • Engaging with our audiences on social platforms.
  • Tracking performance and reporting on the impact social media is having on our pipeline.
  • Continually educating yourself about developments in social channels and suggesting ways to continue scaling our social media presence.
  • Supporting the marketing department with additional tasks as needed.
