We're Hiring: Senior Paid Media Strategist

How To SaaS is looking for a senior paid media strategist to lead, build and scale the paid media agency wing of our firm.

How To SaaS is a management consulting firm focused on helping SaaS companies thrive through marketing and demand generation. We’re growing quickly and are building a team to keep up with the demand for our solutions, along with all the other needs of the business.

  • We partner with SaaS CEOs who need C-level expertise to lead the internal process to build a scientific approach around marketing and demand generation.
  • We partner with CROs and CMOs to lead initiatives with their team members to bring board-level planning, budgeting and forecasting into operations.


You will join a growing team of some of the sharpest digital marketers in the game while in the driver’s seat building paid media strategies for leading software companies. You’ll be exposed to a mind-stimulating multitude of engaging tactics and strategies that will level up your digital marketing game by building, managing and reporting on campaigns across all social and search channels for our industry-leading clients while building a team to scale our paid media agency product offering.

Responsibilities Include

Scaling Paid Media Execution Team

  • Creating internal workflows, processes and structures for scaling our agency offering. We're looking to handle 10+ paid media agency clients by the end of 2022.
  • Training junior team members to help achieve scale
  • Communicating your efforts to the broader team


Campaign Management, Execution & Strategy

  • Creation and maintenance of paid search, display, and paid social campaigns, with a focus on increasing ROI for clients to help them meet their goals
  • Setting strategic direction for clients on how to best leverage each channel for their respective businesses
  • Campaign reporting – producing reports for clients, as well as communication of results and implementing the proposed strategic direction
  • Ownership of the campaign performance


Client Engagement

  • Meeting with clients to offer insights on areas of opportunity within campaigns
  • Effective communication to clients regarding the performance of current digital marketing efforts


Industry & Thought Leadership

  • Accountable for staying up-to-date on the latest digital marketing trends
  • Proactively identifying new opportunities through betas or known best practices to continuously improve paid media campaign performance
  • Training and mentorship of junior team members
  • Maintaining Google Partner, Bing and Facebook certifications, as well as any other industry-relevant accreditations
  • Participation in networking and industry events


Qualifications & Skills

  • 2+ years of experience in a similar role
  • A strong understanding of Paid Search/SEM, Display Advertising
  • A strong understanding of Paid Social (Facebook/Instagram, LinkedIn, Reddit etc.)
  • Google Ads Certified — additional Google or Facebook Certifications are ideal
  • Exceptional reporting skills and understanding of how to track and measure results
  • Experience working on cross-functional digital marketing campaigns
  • Leadership experience with strengths in coaching and mentoring more junior team members
  • Working knowledge of, Google Analytics and Data Studio
  • Strong team player
  • Ability to identify opportunities for areas of optimization and upsell
  • Strong attention to detail and a high level of quality
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
